Qualified Education

As Omega Group companies, we actively support the education and development of all our employees, solution partners and university and technical high school students who represent the future workforce of our industry. We increase the professional skills of our employees with our regular annual training programme, create opportunities for our solution partners to improve their competencies with the
trainings we offer through the online platform of ProAsist Teknik Academy and train competent and well-equipped technical staff for our sector with the technical and vocational trainings we provide in special classes we open in different educational institutions in Istanbul, and offer internship and employment opportunities in our group companies for their career development. In line with our goal of creating a more knowledgeable, competent and sustainable workforce, we plan to make meaningful contributions to the hospitality industry with training and activities for Technical Operation Managers and other technical staff with the protocol we recently signed with UTTMD (International Association of Facility Technical Managers).

Gender Equality

As Omega Group, we believe in creating an inclusive working environment where everyone, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities and we take steps to ensure that women are fairly represented at all levels of our companies and in different areas of the sector. Mr Usta, one of our Omega Group companies, has a team of approximately 20 people, 50% of whom are women. Mr Usta, which attaches importance to an equal distribution in the sector as well as competence, has taken the first step to develop projects together by collaborating with non-governmental organisations and women’s associations with the aim of bringing more female employees to the craftsman market. In addition, in the energy and technical services sector, where Technical Managers, solution partners and employees are predominantly male due to the nature of our business, Omega Elektrik & Enerji Teknolojileri, one of our group companies, has been working in cooperation with different organisations for the last few years to increase the employment of women in the production area, especially in the assembly departments.

Decent Work and Economic Growth

As Omega Group, we take the necessary measures to create a safe and healthy working environment in all our companies, implement different practices and offer special opportunities to our employees.

We provide comprehensive training to all our employees on work and occupational safety and employee health, discuss and take action to prevent occupational accidents, analyse the accidents that occur and the measures to be taken in our OHS board, and encourage employees to develop ideas and suggestions on occupational safety with the competition we organise every year during the Occupational Safety Week. In order for all our group employees to have access to
quality health services, we provide complementary health insurance, one check-up per year, doctor check-up service in the office on certain days of the week for daily health complaints, and periodic trainings on healthy nutrition, stress management, waist, neck and spine health by specialist doctors. We offer activities such as billiards, foosball and darts to maintain a healthy work-life balance and for our employees to socialise and develop team spirit.

As Omega Group, we not only provide our employees with safe, fair, productive, inclusive and development-friendly working conditions, but also create opportunities for the development of craftsmen and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that we cooperate with through our different companies. We support the economic growth of nearly 1600 solution partner businesses providing services to companies all over Turkey under the roof of ProAsist Technical Services, and 125+ businesses and 250+ craftsmen teams serving individual and corporate customers through Mr Usta, by providing a new channel and regular workflow. We pave the way for the growth of not only our company but also the entire ecosystem and economy together by cooperating with subcontractors in many new projects that we receive through our other companies.

Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

We see digital transformation and infrastructure investments as the driving forces of economic growth and sustainable development, and we make strategic investments in smart technologies that enable the leading companies we serve to manage their projects more effectively, and in infrastructures that carry efficiency and productivity to higher levels. As Omega Group, with the company we established in Edirne Technopark, we develop software technologies specific to the business and project processes of each of our group companies, enabling our customers to follow all the details of their projects, make informed decisions and manage their operations efficiently through smart screens. With this investment, we are raising the technological competences of our own group companies on the one hand and industrial sectors on the other. In addition, with ProAsist Technical Services, we strengthen the infrastructures of companies in different sectors, increase resource efficiency and contribute to the sustainability of industries. Our recent Robotic Process Optimisation (RPA) cooperation with Siemens is the most important proof of the continuity of our investments in this field. With the RPA project, we plan to optimise business processes, reduce errors and maximise productivity by increasing operational efficiency.

Sustainable Cities and Communities

In line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Cities and Communities goal, we play an important role in the sustainable functioning of businesses and homes with our group companies , contributing to the construction of durable systems for industry, cities and society. With ProAsist Technical Services, we provide mechanical electrical maintenance and repair services to retail chains, production facilities, large companies and institutions, ensuring that the lifetime of energy-consuming devices in cities and buildings is extended and less energy is consumed. In line with our holistic service approach, we also provide technical services to the businesses served by our other group companies, Omega Engineering and Omega Electricity and Energy Technologies, to ensure the sustainability of operations and devices. With Mr Usta, we support the uninterrupted flow of life in homes, which form the basis of sustainable cities and communities, by ensuring that all household items from electrical appliances to textile products last longer with ‘maintenance and repair’ services such as air conditioner repair and maintenance, electrical installation works, boiler repair and maintenance, dry cleaning, sofa and carpet washing. In unexpected situations such as the 6 February earthquake, where life is seriously disrupted, we are aware of our responsibilities as both group companies and employees, and we actively participate in improving the daily lives of communities and meeting their energy needs, contributing both in kind and in cash.

Responsible Production and Consumption

We are aware of the important role that the understanding and practices of businesses and individuals regarding production and consumption play in sustainable development. For this reason, as Omega Group, we implement sustainable practices at every stage of production, from resource procurement to waste management, and take concrete steps to minimise environmental impacts while maximising efficiency. In the electrical panels produced by Omega Elektrik & Enerji Teknolojileri, we use the materials produced by Siemens, our business partner and global supplier, by considering ‘energy efficiency’, and we ensure the removal and recycling of all wastes from production in line with our company’s environmental policy. On the other hand, we ensure the efficient use of resources with our smart technologies and technical maintenance and repair services, and guide businesses and industries towards more conscious consumption and a ‘resource-efficient’ economy. In addition, we contribute to the adoption of a more responsible consumption approach by individuals through the services provided by our group company Mr Usta for households.

Climate Action

Although the industrial revolution has brought many positive results for societies, it has also been the source of many environmental problems. The increasing need for energy with the development of industry has also led to an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. As Omega Group, we are aware that any major or minor improvements and innovations that companies will make in energy efficiency will have great and positive results for the sustainability of the environment. With ProAsist Technical Services, we play an important role in reducing carbon footprints and emissions by reducing energy consumption with the technical maintenance and repair services we provide to thousands of businesses and facilities. With similar technical services provided by Mr Usta, we also save energy in homes. In the air conditioner maintenance and repair services we provide with ProAsist Technical Services and Mr Usta, we use environmentally friendly air conditioner gases and filters, and we ensure that the gases are removed in special cylinders to prevent their release into nature. In addition, we use LED lighting in our Omega Electricity and Energy Technologies production facility to reduce energy consumption. As Omega Group, we know that we are only at the beginning of the road for Climate Action and we are committed to integrate environmentally friendly approaches into our strategic plan and future projects.
